
Sharon
Jenkins graduated from Duke University with a Baccalaureate
of Arts in Economics and History. She received her Juris
Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law
and her MBA from the University of Bridgeport. Ms. Jenkins has
been admitted to the Connecticut bar and is also admitted to
practice before federal court (District of Connecticut).
Ms. Jenkins’ primary focus in
law centers around Personal Injury Litigation on a State and
Federal level of which she takes pride in providing
representation for each case with the seriousness it deserves –
whether large or small – assuring that each client receives the
compensation that he or she deserves. She also has acquired and
honed a specialized knowledge of Healthcare Law including
regulations from both provider and end-user perspectives.
Additionally, Ms. Jenkins has developed a specialized knowledge
of Education Law. As a result of her active involvement in this
field, she is aware of cutting edge issues that confront
students, schools, and local school districts. Ms. Jenkins
holds elected office as a member of the Bridgeport Board of
Education.
